Job Description Hybrid: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Concord, NC three times per week, at minimum. Given the need to support some live race events during weekends, this role will require the ability to work a flexible schedule. The Role

The design engineer will complete design and project work as specified by the Senior Technical Staff.   The design engineer should have the ability to oversee projects for a small team or group.  The design engineer will be responsible for meeting project release deadlines as they are established for all small team projects.    Roles and Responsibilities:

As an IndyCar Performance Engineer (PE), you’ll play a pivotal role in enhancing car and driver performance by working directly with the Race Engineer (RE) to analyze data, apply engineering fundamentals, and make critical, on-the-spot decisions. You'll take charge of fuel calculations and play an integral role in crafting winning race strategies. Beyond race day, you’ll lead R&D projects tailored to your expertise, making a real impact on our team’s competitive edge.
